If everyone just pitched in we all good enjoy our Mother Earth for a long time to come. I come from a family that has always been aware of many ways to recycle and have done our best in keeping new trees growing and replanting what we can, when we can, amongst other things.

So I was happy to find a list of the best 10 green web site hosting companies that are going the extra mile in an effort to be as Eco-friendly as possible. I’m going to check them all out and see about switching to the one that I decide on. Green Geeks states that they are 300% Green Hosting and are a free domain name, host unlimited domains, along with a free site builder. Out of 5 stars they rate a 4 1/2 so that is a plus.

I found an interesting blog that speaks of green web hosting and thought that I might pass it on here for my readers entitled The Emergence of Green Web Hosting. On Tuesday, the Senate health committee voted 12-11 in favor of a two-page amendment courtesy of Republican Tom Coburn that would require all Members and their staffs to enroll in any new government-run health plan. It took me less than a minute to sign up to require our congressmen and senators to drink at the same trough! Three cheers for Congressman John Fleming of Louisiana !

 

Congressman John Fleming ( Louisiana physician) has proposed an amendment that would require congressmen and senators to take the same health care plan they force on us (under proposed legislation they are curiously exempt).

 

Congressman Fleming is encouraging people to go on his Website and sign his petition (very simple – just first, last and email). I have immediately done just that at: http://fleming.house.gov/index.html . Please urge as many people as you can to do the same!

 

If Congress forces this on the American people, the Congressmen should have to accept the same level of health care for themselves and their families.

I’m afraid that this year’s holiday season will fall short, big time, of so many people’s expectations. Retail is going to be crazy with sales and promotions trying to squeeze any dollars that they possibly can out of “Joe Public” and people are going to be looking for bargains more than ever. I’m glad that I don’t have a large amount of people on my list that I need to buy for this Christmas and I plan on doing as much purchasing online as I can.

Last year I didn’t get a chance to send any cards out, for many a reasons. But this year I plan on sending out as many as I possibly can that I can read legibly on my mother’s handwritten Christmas card list. I discovered it a few months back in a dresser drawer that I was cleaning out and was pleased to read over it.

Since the place has many pine trees adorning it, I thought it fitting to sent the Pinecone photo christmas cards that I found at 123print.co.uk with the photo of the old house that I uploaded and will have imprinted on the front of it. I think the folks that will be receiving them will appreciate.

Christmas will be here soon enough, I have my work cut out for me, there are over 50 names and addresses on that list!
