The holidays are so hard on us since our parents left this world over 3 years ago now and it is always a struggle to please everyone in the family trying to accommodate each others wants, needs and feelings. My eldest sister has basically taken on the task of having the Christmas family dinner at her place, while others have been taking turns holding the Thanksgiving dinner and festivities at their homes, which so far has worked out fairly well. With the cost of fuel increasing, and it is increasing once again, it is getting harder for the farm to be making enough money to pay for the fuel I need to run the tractors to tend the farm. I’m growing enough crops to feed my own livestock, assuming that the weather cooperates I won’t have to buy too much winter feed.
