April Fools

One thing that really sucks about living alone and tending to the farm as much as I do is that holidays like April 1st (April Fools Day) are just another day on the farm. There is no one around to play a joke on, what a bummer. I used to love playing pranks on people as a kid, any day of the year was a good day to get a good laugh!

Wonderful Rain Chains For Mother’s Day

I have the perfect gift to give some one like my late-mother for Mother’s Day or any other gift giving holiday would be good as well. I’ve never seen one before, although I’ve heard the term “chains rain” before. Life is so much better when it stays lighter out for longer periods of time. Right in the middle of summer is actually stays light until after 9:00 p.m., which is so awesome. Since I spend so much of [...]

Cheap Ink

Since I don’t the chance to go into town as often as I’d like to, and now with the price of gas rising to almost the $4 a gallon mark, I don’t want to go anywhere if I can help it. It’s a good thing that I can get a lot of what I need delivered right to my door by ordering items via the Internet. I don’t do a whole lot of printing here at the farm but just [...]
