Interesting Blogs

There are times that I get a chance to surf the Internet mindlessly, just seeing where I will end up and seeing what there is to see, but I usually don’t read other people’s blogs, if I don’t know them that is. I do enjoy reading my sister’s and my friend’s blog now and then, just to see what they are up to that they aren’t telling me about.Last night was a night that I just ready ready to hit the sack, so I started surfing around and fell across a blog that was written by a girl who is complaining about the fact that her boyfriend is such a sports fanatic, who lives and breathes sports, mainly football. He is a Florida Gators Football fan and appears to be fully occupied by this sport even before the football season starts, what with all of the football pools and fantasy picks that are so popular these days. She did not mention if he usually wins or loses these gambling issues, I mean if the man wins money on his picks, I say the more power to ya.

Barack Obama Oil Painting by Hand

To find an awesome selection of President Barack Obama art, one needs to look no further than at Barackobamaoilpainting.com, where they are offering hand painted portraits, in a variety of sizes, starting at $179. I have taken the time to place one example below for viewing here on my blog.

This company is so confident with their paintings that they offer 100% money back guarantee. Each painting is truly unique, one of a kind and have just recently launched their website and are anxious and excited to have the word put out about their hand painted portraits of our newly elected President Barack Obama.

Electronics Around the Place

Actually got a few things accomplished last night after I was done with all the farm work. Decided that I could fix a couple of the broken light switches in the basement, mission accomplished! It went so quick and easy I thought I’d go out and install the motion detector that my sister had brought home here a few weeks ago. After a bit of fumbling around trying to figure out the best spot to secure it and where I could easily tap into the electric, I found a hot junction box right where I wanted to put the light. Except for my banging my head on the ladder when I was setting it up, it too went smoothly and I once again patted myself on the back for a job well done. Then I sat down in the easy chair in the parlor and was out like a light.

The Circle of Life

Since I grew up on a farm, I learned at a young age how to hunt, and all about the “circle of life,” as they put it. It was instilled upon us all how important the treatment of animals were, along with the need to use God’s creatures as a way to keep us alive with their meat, as well as their hides and other body parts for many other necessary usages.

We grew up with many fire arms around and learned how to shoot and clean each weapon along the knowledge of which was used for what reasons. I didn’t get to do much hunting this fall, due to all of the work that is now placed on me and me alone around the farm, but I did manage to go twice and I did bring home some nice venison to eat during the winter months. It had been a while since I had gone hunting, but I enjoyed getting away from all the daily duties around the place, and was glad that the time spent away from the place was productive, and not all just entertainment.

I do know that I will need to buy a new scope for my father’s rifle that has been used for many generations and have been looking at the bushnell scopes that are being offered at Opticsplanet.net. They provide free shipping with purchases over $29.95 and have a brilliant selection of these scopes here at very reasonable prices.
