I’m sure everyone has heard about “The Biggest Loser” program on TV, hosted by Jillian Michaels. She’s like the no-nonsense fitness guru of the decade. Now she even has an online fitness program to help motivate people to reach their goals and her site also offers Jillian Michaels Coupons which is always a plus when it comes to putting your money where your mouth is. I think I made a joke!
It has been a few years since I’ve had a “sweet heart” to celebrate and buy gifts for on Valentine’s Day, which comes each and every year on February the 14th. But I do remember, years back, right out of high school, I had been dating the same girl for 3 years, things got pretty hot and heavy, marriage was discussed a few times, but it fizzled out and we broke it off, right after Valentine’s Day, and I had bought her a very nice watch, one of the well known Bulova watches, that she thoroughly enjoyed receiving on that day for lovers.
She always had an issue with being late, but never wore a watch, although she owned several of them, so I thought that a nice looking watch, presented to her with love on Valentine’s Day would encourage her to start wearing a wrist watch, therefore giving her the opportunity to get to places in a more timely fashion.
It was totally strange to run into her a few years back, she is now married with children, I noticed that she was still wearing that watch and she told me how she is still known as arriving late to the majority of her appointments and functions in her now extremely busy life with the kids and all that is involved with that lifestyle. Guess some people never change!
This two tone ladies Bulova watch is very similar to the one that she is hopefully still wearing to this day.
Every spring I get so anxious after planting the gardens in the back, I can’t wait to see what will be popping up and how fast, and what seeds have been eaten by birds or squirrels and need re-planting. We have been granted a bunch of rain lately which has made things start off on a good foot and I am craving the tomatoes already. During the summer months I tend to put on a few pounds due to the high consumption of tomato sandwiches which are so easy to make and taste so good in the hot days of summer.
My oldest sister wants to take her husband and her son on Vacation to the Bahama’s and needs a little more extra cash to be able to do it on the date they would like to go. There is something about a New Ford that just excites me, my father was always a Ford man, only bought Ford vehicles all his life and I have followed in his footsteps as far as I’m concerned. The Ford Dealership and Maintenance Shop in town knows the family very well, we have been receiving Christmas Cards from them for as long as I can remember and am on a first name basis with the majority of employees that have worked there through out the years.
